Es un copy/paste.Créditos más abajo.Hace unos meses nos enteramos de que AMC, la cadena que está empezando a destacar en EEUU gracias a sus series aclamadas por la crítica ‘Mad Men’ y ‘Breaking Bad’ y la fan favorite ‘The Walking Dead‘, estaba desarrollando junto con Kevin Smith un reality sobre su tienda de cómics en New Jersey. Un concepto que, cuanto menos, me llamó mucho la atención aunque de ahí podría haber salido cualquier cosa. Todos sabemos qué tratamiento suele tener el mundo del cómic en los medios, así que el miedo ahí estaba.Así pues hace unas semanas (el doce de febrero) se estrenó ‘Comic Book Men‘ siguiendo el regreso de la segunda temporada de ‘The Walking Dead’. Ahí, yendo a tope a por el target del espacio: los frikis. El reality está ambientado en Jay & Silent Boy’s Secret Stash, la tienda de cómics de Kevin Smith (aunque él no trabaja allí) y que llevan sus amigos Walt Flanagan (el gerente y que a algunos os sonará por varias de las pelis de Smith y por ser el dibujante de ‘Batman: Cacofonía‘), Mike Zapcic y Ming Chen. Además dentro de la tienda nos encontraremos a Bryan Johnson, otro de la panda de Smith que se pasa el día allí.El reality está realizado de una forma curiosa, por un lado imita a otros realities basados en tiendas (por ejemplo ‘LA Ink’) pero incluye además una tertulia en la que van comentando la jugada en la grabación del podcast ‘The Secret Stash‘ (que se puede descargar al finalizar el episodio). Cosa que la verdad le da un aspecto bastante interesante e incluso innovador en un formato que estaba empezando a encorsetarse bastante.
